Abiogenesis is a multi genre act that hails from Nagaland, India. With folk-fusion as their unique speciality, they create Indigenous and tribal sound in the most modern way making it exotic and beautiful to listen to, a sound never heard before. Each and every song or music explains the untold stories of Nagaland. It is not only entertaining but also a learning experience. Their exploration and experimentation resulted in evolving a new form of world music called Howey music. Howey is a fusion of Naga and other Indian folk with various forms of modern rhythm. Another special feature of the band is the invention of a new wind bamboo musical instrument called bamhum by a band member Moa. This (the bamhum) novelty brought about a huge change to how Abiogenesis sounds today. It became the leading instrument of the band with Arenla playing the lead Bamhum, and Moa playing the harmony. Moa received the National Award from the President of India for his invention of the Bamhum, Moa has invented another Bamboo percussion called Tikzik which is a bamboo percussion with multiple sounds. Abiogenesis has Performed in 8 countries: Finland, Estonia, Thailand, India, Russia, Bhutan, Tunisia

The diversity and versatility of the different styles of Kathak always used to appeal to Archana since her childhood. It motivates her to learn the style of Raigharana from Guru Harikrishan Gupta and the style of Lucknow gharana from Smt.Malti shyam of Delhi

Souraja belongs to the illustrious Tagore family of Calcutta. She was introduced to Bharatanatyam dance at the tender age of six by her mother Soumya Tagore. Under the further guidance and tutelage of her Guru, Shri Abhoy Pal, Souraja has perfected her art through rigorous training and is now an accomplished performer. Souraja went on to become a recipient of the National Scholarship awarded by the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (Government of India) for more than nine consecutive years. At present Souraja continues to learn and perform as well as impart training to a future generation of Bharatnatyam dancers. Additionally, she is pursuing her PhD in English, while utilizing her extra time in teaching college students (English Literature) and also conducting dance appreciation classes for postgraduate students at Rabindra Bharati University. She is also an external examiner for Calcutta University and Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. Souraja is a graded artist of Doordarshan, Kolkata. Souraja secured the first position in the competition organized by the West Bengal State Music Academy. She is a Gold Medalist at the All Bengal Music Conference (2005). She was awarded National Scholarship by the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), New Delhi in 1995. Souraja is an empanelled artist of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi, the Eastern Zonal Cultural Center (Kolkata) and Sangeet Natak Akademi (New Delhi). Souraja was awarded the ‘Best Upcoming Dancer’ by the Folk and Entertainment Section, Government of West Bengal (Lokranjan Sakha) in the year 2009. Souraja was awarded the “Vivekananda Yuva Shakti Leadership Excellency Award” for the year 2010. She was awarded the Gold Medal for the most outstanding performance at the All Bengal Music Conference 2013.

Mr. Keshav Tolangi Sarki a young Indian musician specialised in drums , tabla and percussion .Born up in Mirik nestled in the serene hills of Darjeeling District ,West Bengal. Started his Musical Journey at a very young age. He has completed Foundation in Music from Satya Sai Mirpuri College of Music, Prashanti Nilayam. At the year 2017 After then he has completed Bachelor in Performing Arts at the year 2020 from Sikkim University and is Ungoing Masters in Performing Arts from Sikkim University. Additional to that he has Scored Distinction (95 percent ) from Trinity College of London, Rock and Pop in Grade 4. He also has 2 years of teaching experience of drums. Apart from that he has been playing with many well known musicians and has represented our Folk Percussionist Instrument Madal. His playing style reflects fusion ,western, rock and pop and his love for folk and traditional music of Darjeeling Hills. He too owns a youtube channel in which he uploads various types of experimental music and cover videos.

Born in Darjeeling,his journey with the Tabla started when he was in 5th standard under the tutelagd of his Guru Fakira(Lucknow Gharana) and Sri.Prabin gazmer(Lucknow Gharana).At his young age he performed fusion music with guitar and other instrument in Darjeeling carnival.And participate in "Sur taal" program in Darjeeling as a Tabla player.After completing his 6th year from Prayag sangit samiti,Allahabad.He holds diploma in music from Sri Sathya Sai Mirpuri college of music.He is also under the guidance of Pt.Nishikant Boradekar Ji(Senior disciple of Ustad Allarakha khansaheb of Punjab Gharana)and is extremely thank full to Bhagawan Sathya Sai baba for gifting him a great human and a versatile mentor. He served in Sruti Nikitan music center in Darjeeling as a assistant lecturer in Tabla.Worked in Rhythm Shala music school, Bangalore and learned from Muthu kumar ji.Currently he is in Darjeeling running his own music school named as "Taal Vidyalaya".
