Percussion | You’ll be trained in virtually every aspect of percussion performance—orchestral percussion, timpani, solo marimba, chamber percussion, drum set, jazz vibes, and world percussion. Music education is at the core of everything our department does, so you will also be prepared to teach. |
Piano | Our piano programs are designed to help our undergraduate and graduate students to grow and learn in a healthy, supportive atmosphere. Each student receives personal attention with at least a one-hour individual lesson weekly and participation in a weekly studio class. We also offer chamber music coaching, and there are three concerto competitions a year. |

We produce five fully staged operas and one musical, all double cast with orchestra, each season. |
